Prayer for Special Occasions - S4-004

Our Father, who brought from the shadows of defeat the victory of life eternal, we give you thanks for this faith in life’s greater possibilities.

Increase our desire to make the lives of oppressed souls more cheerful through the sharing of our faith. You brought immortality to light through the gospel; grant to us its meaning. So may we live as children of Thine, manifesting your presence through every living moment.

In the beauty of this Easter Day, help us o find a place for special devotion. Consecrate our lives to the sharing of hope with all whose lives are desolate; give us inspired thoughts that our deeds may proceed from motives that are pure.
In the name of the risen Christ we pray. Amen
